Angels is, simply put, an original magical girl game where the protagonists are reincarnated 'angels' with past lives and multiple reincarnations that carry the names and powers spheres of their original incarnations. The antagonists are the Lords of Hell who seek to revive an eldritch evil and bring about ruination to the world while collecting the souls of the innocent along the way. The game is set in the city of London, Great Britain and in the year 1999, beginning at the end of the summer holidays, but the London of ANCD is a far more sinister London than the one you can visit if you grab a ticket to Heathrow.

So, to summarize: magical girls with fluffy wings and angelic powers, horrific Lords of Hell tormenting the innocent and silently ruling the city with a grip of iron, past lives, guardian faries, zombies, the occult, and Westminster Abbey. Come on, you know you want to come play with us.
